Experienced in orthopaedics, manual therapy, movement correction and kinesiotaping. Her passion and background for the last several years has been helping athletes of all levels and ages, including Crossfitters, runners, yogis, and organized sports athletes improve their movement patterns, gain strength, and stop the pain cycle that limits quality of life and hinders performance.
Kim believes every person should have the knowledge to perform basic maintenance on their own body and that without planned daily movement and mindful eating habits we welcome pain, stress, and dysfunction into our body and lives. She strives to set the example for her patients by living a purposefully healthy life and seeking to better her level of fitness.
She believes in treating every person as a whole versus an individual ailment. There is joy in exploring how to best help each patient, whether it be helping them build healthier eating habits to reduce inflammation, educating them on how to incorporate stress and anxiety reducing techniques, or helping them rekindle or find love for daily movement and exercise.
Kim enjoys spending time and working out with her Crossfit friends. She feels blessed to be a part of the Crossfit family in Dothan and Troy and frequents several different Crossfit boxes weekly. She also enjoys running, yoga and trying new workouts and sports. She has a hilarious clown-like french bulldog, Rocky, who is not only a therapy dog but a constant source of entertainment at home! When she is not at work she is spending time with her supportive family and boyfriend as much as possible.
